Training and simulation for the police
RVO has opened an Innovation Impact Challenge seeking solutions for challenges within the Dutch Police. The Challenge focuses on changing often conventional working methods to combat crime and make police work more effective.
About this call
What can you apply for?

The question behind this funding scheme
How can we develop IX solutions for concrete societal challenges set by major clients?
Theme of this edition
Training and simulation for the police
Our collaboration partner RVO is organizing an Innovation Impact Challenge under the CIIIC framework to deploy IX for the Dutch Police.
This Challenge seeks innovative solutions that contribute to more effective crime fighting and more efficient work processes. IX can help police officers prepare more quickly, effectively, and flexibly for ever-changing circumstances. For more information, read this RVO information page.
Objective of the Challenge
Police work is constantly changing due to societal and technological developments. IX can contribute to this by:
- Agile and adaptive learning and preparation: IX solutions that allow police officers to train and practice more quickly, effectively, and flexibly.
- Police actions in new realities: IX solutions that support and optimize operational work in real-time.
The Dutch Police offers itself as a test environment for the development of the selected products and services.
